Lars Peter Hansen – 2019

Lars Peter Hansen, with Eugene Fama and Robert Shiller, was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences. The award cited their “empirical analysis of asset prices”.

Professor Hansen honored our 23rd Annual Conference (2019) as a keynote speaker. His presentation was “Climate Science and Uncertainty”.

 

Christopher A. Pissarides – 2009

Christopher A. Pissarides was jointly awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2010 for his analysis of markets with search frictions.Professor Pissarides honoured our 13th Annual Conference (2009) as a keynote speaker. His presentation was “Welfare Policy and the Sectoral Distribution of Work”.

Tomas J. Sargent – 2001

Thomas J. Sargent was jointly awarded the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2011 for their “empirical research on cause and effect in the macroeconomy”

Professor Sargent honored our 5th Annual Conference (2001) as a keynote speaker. His presentation was “Wanting Robustness in Macroeconomics”.
